Join us for a free training event: Saturday, June 10
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Springbrook Nature Center: 100 85th Avenue NW
This FREE training will give you the knowledge to help care for the trees in your community. As a Tree Steward, you will become an expert in all things trees, and will be able to assist other volunteers and work closely with city staff.

Learn how to install tree bags, when and how to fill them, & protect new trees during dry periods.
Learn the best ways to prune newly planted trees.
Tree Steward Program:
Learn the signs and symptoms of unhealthy trees; watch for vandalized, broken or hazardous trees; and report tree concerns to the City.

They provide us with clean air, rain water management, safety and overall beauty for our community. The MN DNR has granted us funds to manage and improve our urban forest.
