Summer Youth Sports Instruction/Introduction

During the summer, Fridley Recreation does offer beginner sports instruction and learning in a non-competitive atmosphere. We also offer after-school sports at Hayes and Stevenson Elementary Schools.

The City of Fridley does not coordinate youth sports leagues. Below is contact information for The Fridley Youth Sports Association -- a volunteer group of residents who donate their time to offer youth sports in Fridley. Volunteers include League Directors, coaches, assistant coaches and many people behind the scenes. If you are interested in donating your time to a particular sport, or would like further information, please contact the appropriate League Director listed below:

National Flag Football League, Ages 4 - 14

Join us for an experience like no other! National Flag Football is the largest NFL FLAG affiliate program in the entire country. Convenient practices will begin Sunday, April 30. The season will run through June. All practices take place one hour before your scheduled game time on Sundays.

Teams will be made up of youth from Fridley, Spring Lake Park and Mounds View. To register, go to
