I-694 Closing Overnight on Aug 1


Interstate 694 will be closed in Fridley overnight beginning next Tuesday (8/1) at 9:00 PM until Wednesday (8/2) at 5:00 AM to set a pedestrian bridge at Main Street.

All travel lanes will be closed between I-94 / TH 252 and I-35W.  On ramps to I-694 between these locations will be closed.

Traffic will be detoured eastbound via TH252 – TH610 – US10 – I-35W, and westbound via I-35W – US10 – TH610 – TH252.

UPDATE: Murder Investigation

Arrest made in Fridley murder case. A suspect has been identified. That suspect was actively pursued and taken into custody by officers from the Minneapolis Police Department. The suspect is in the custody of the Anoka County Jail.
