The City of Fridley will be performing construction in Craig Park to address longstanding drainage issues, enhance park amenities, and improve water quality. This project is supported in part through Coon Creek Watershed District's Water Quality Cost Share program. Check out the video below to learn more about the project. Restoration and final grading have been completed. More information on restoration and erosion control can be found here.
Project Update #10 September 17, 2021
The features of the new park have started to be revealed since our last update. Trails have been installed and courts have been resurfaced. Final grading of the park is expected to complete early next week. More information can be found here.
Project Update #9 - August 27, 2021
The contractor was still able to get a great start on the project last week, even with the heavy rains in the area. In addtion to grading activities, Peterson Companies will begin cutting new trails and installing storm drain. More information here.
