Dragonfly

Join us for a different kind of field trip with a focus on dragonflies. We will spend about 30 minutes in the classroom reviewing dragonflies and damselflies with John Arthur and then 60 minutes out in the wetland looking for dragonflies, taking photos and netting dragonflies.

​Butterfly Survey
Saturday, July 13 
10 am - Noon
1 pm - 3 pm

Hike off the trails into the forest, prairies and oak savanna on this fun midsummer event. Using nets and field guides provided, we will look in hidden corners to find as many species of butterflies as possible. Participants are welcome to bring a picnic lunch.
